All Of Redcity

RedCity Roar named as a finalist for the 2025 Basketball Queensland Association of the Year award.

RedCity Roar has recently been named a finalist for the 2025 Association of the Year award at the annual Basketball Queensland Awards Night held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Other finalists for the award included Logan, Cairns, Townsville and Southern Districts.

This is a great achievement for the association. Being named a finalist represents a significant achievement and underscores our Associations dedication to the sport of basketball within Queensland. This marks the first time RedCity or Redlands basketball has been a finalist for this major BQ Award.

This recognition by the state governing body is a testament to all the hard work done by all the volunteers, the casuals, the clubs including the club committees and the tireless work by our staff and management committee and all those many hours of dedication behind the scenes by everyone. But also, to all the amazing members who are a part of the great RedCity community. It is great sign that the Association is heading in the right direction and to have this formally recognised is humbling and inspiring for all those involved.
