​The RedCity Roar aim is to ensure every junior player and junior referee is supported with an accredited coach. 
The RedCity Roar values coaches and their role as the custodians of the game.
They set the tone for how RedCity Roar players, parents and spectators should respect the game and its participants this being the opposition (players coaches and spectators), the referees, the scorebench officials  and administrators.

The following minimum coach accreditation standards will apply for all coaches.


Club Coach (coaching a club team in a RedCity Roar competition) –  Minimum Standard  –  Community Coach Accreditation

Head  Association Coach U12 to U14 (coaching a representative team in a Basketball Queensland competition) – Minimum Standard – Club Coach Accreditation

Assistant Association Coach U12 to U14 (assistant coach for a representative team in Basketball Queensland competition) – Minimum Standard – Community Coach Accreditation

Head  Association Coach U16 to QBL (coaching a representative team in Basketball Queensland competition) – Minimum Standard – Association Coach Accreditation
