Congratulations to our very own Laura McKillop who was crowned the Australian Junior Champion for the 3000m Steeplechase at the 2022 Chemist Warehouse Australian Track and Field Championships held in Sydney. Laura smashed her personal best by 22 seconds in a dominant performance to win the event. Her time qualifies her for the Junior World Championships in August. Laura continues the trend of Australian dual sport athletes. As a 17yo Laura made her debut in the NBL1 last season contributing an outstanding rookie performance against Northside with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals!
