The 2020 RedCity Roar U18 girls have emulated the efforts of our 2021 U12 girls by winning the Division 2 State Championships. Two and half years ago when RedCity Roar Basketball Association was formed and ran its first junior competition there were 11 registered junior female players in this age group.
Last week the RedCity Roar had a group of girls play an outstanding state championship tournament, culminating in a 65 to 42 victory in the gold medal match.
Congratulations to all the coaches and administrators who have done so much build our junior girls competitions and of course the players and support team below that helped them over the week!
