JUNIOR COMPETITIONS

REDCITY ROAR OFFERS A LOCAL DOMESTIC COMPETITION FOR ALL AGE GROUPS AND GENDERS FROM U10 THROUGH TO U18.
 
Players Register with one of our 8 official clubs
 
The club organises the uniform, the coach, training times and nominates the team in the RedCity Roar junior competition.

GAMES ARE PLAYED AT REDLANDS PCYC (CAPALABA) AND THE PAUL BANCROFT CENTRE AT CLEVELAND DISTRICT STATE HIGH SCHOOL.

  • U10 Competition – Games played on Saturday
  • U12 Competition – Games played on Saturday
  • U14 Div 2/3/4 Competition – Games played on Saturdays 
  • U14 Div 1 Competition – Games played on Friday evenings
  • U16 Boys Competition – Games played on Friday evenings
  • U16 Girls Competition – Games played on Tuesday evenings
  • U18  Competition – Games played on Tuesday evening

RedCity Roar is a Basketball Queensland sanctioned association that provides an exciting opportunity for kids aged 8-17 to participate in the RedCity Junior Competitions.
 
The eight affiliated clubs are based throughout the Redlands district, offering year-round competitions in both summer (Term 1 and 2) and winter seasons (Term 3 and 4).
 
Registration is easy and can be done directly with the clubs, each with their own information for membership cost and training.

Capalaba Wildcats are based at Redlands PCYC. on the corner of Degen &  Mt Cotton Rds. Trainings are generally week day afternoons and evenings.

The Alex Hills Raiders are based at Alexandra Hills State High School,  3-27 Windemere Rd, Alexandra Hills . Trainings are generally Monday afternoons/evenings  and Thursdays afternoons.

Bayside Basketball are based at Bayview State School,  77 Ziegenfusz Rd, Thornlands. Trainings are generally Monday  to Thursday afternoons/evenings

The Wellinton Point Kings are based on the northern end of Redlands with training venues at Birkdale Primary School, Wellington Point State School and their main venue at Redlands College. Trainings are generally Wednesday evenings to Sunday mornings  

The South Bay Dolphins  will be based at Victoria Point High School  and/or Scenic Shores State School. Trainings are to be confirmed.  Taking teams in 2025! Click on the “Register Now” button if you would like to help get the club started!

Faith Basketball are a school based club only for Faith Lutheran School students (Junior campus – 132 Link Rd  Victoria Point & Senior campus – 1/15 Beveridge Rd, Thornlands). Trainings are at the school weekday afternoons/evenings. 

Crusaders Basketball are  based  at Capalaba State College, 150 Mount Cotton Rd, Capalaba. Training times to be confirmed.

The Ormiston Crushers are  based  at Ormiston State School, 82-110 Gordon St, Ormiston QLD 4160. Training times are on Thursdays from 6.00pm. They also train at Sheldon College Monday evenings from 6:30pm.
